This directory provides links to sites dedicated to the Sasquatch - or Bigfoot. Although one has never been captured - dead or alive - there is a lot of circumstantial evidence, as a whole, that could lead credence for their existence. The indigenous people of North America have numerous legends where the Sasquatch is in the starring role. In fact the name "Sasquatch" is derived from several phonetically similar names for a "large, hairy creature" predominantly in the languages of the indigenous people of British Columbia, Canada, and Washington and Oregon in the USA.
Although actual sightings of a Sasquatch are somewhat rare they tend to leave a lot of large foot prints giving rise to the common name "Bigfoot". The first recorded account of an overly large foot print by a white man was on January 7, 1811 by the explorer, David Thompson, near the modern day town of Jasper, Alberta, Canada. David Thompson was noted for keeping detailed records and he described the foot print in the snow as being 14 inches long by 8 inches wide.

Sasquatch - Bigfoot
- Bigfoot Buzz
- This is a column from "First Perspective - National Aboriginal News" out of Manitoba and there's some good articles about recent sightings but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get a list of all the articles.
- Bigfoot Biologist
- This is the home site of John Bindernagel, B.S.A., MS, Ph.D. and author of the book, North America's Great Ape: the Sasquatch.
- Bigfoot Encounters
- A good site with a lot of information and it's right up-to-date with lots of recent encounters. Good selection of photos, videos, and audio. Well worth checking out.
- Bigfoot - Fact or Fantasy
- This is well laid out website with a good selection of historical accounts of Sasquatch sightings and encounters. Some very interesting stuff here!
- Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization
- An extensive database of sightings classified as to their significance. You could spend hours reading the accounts of Sasquatch encounters. The "BFRO Message Forums" is quite active and well worth checking out.
- Bigfoot - from Wikipedia
- This is a good read that goes into a good bit of detail.
- Bigfoot Information Project
- A nice looking website but it doesn't look like it's been updated in a while. The few articles are well written though.

- This is a site dedicated to all sorts of possible creatures. This link points to the Sasquatch page and is basically a dissection of the famous Patterson Gimlin film from Bluff Creek. An interesting read.
- Crypto - Bipedal - Primatology
- A big long page but the embossed page background makes it a bit hard to read. It tries to be "scientific" and there's lots of detailed information but the site could really use a makeover if it wants to be taken more seriously.
- Cryptozoology - Sasquatch
- Kind of short page on the Sasquatch but it's interesting just the same.
- Crystal Links Bigfoot Page
- An historical overview of the Sasquatch with descriptions and stories of other Bigfoot-like crytids around the globe.
- D. Jeffrey Meldrum - Idaho State University
- An in depth analysis of Sasquatch foot prints and their inferred functional morphology. Sounds convincing to me but I'm not a biologist. Certainly makes you think!
- Great Dreams - Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Yeti
- One big long page with some intriguing content but it gets a bit off track when it starts trying to make an association between UFOs and Bigfoot.
- Gulf Coast Bigfoot Research Organization
- En extensive website but lots of animated gifs and weird colors make it hard to take seriously. However, there is a lot of information and it's worth checking out.

- A well done website with a good database of North American and International sightings of Bigfoot and it's numerous cousins. A site definitely worth checking out.
